> Submitting a SENSITEST®

Please note that tests can only be submitted by registered Veterinary Surgeons. If you are not a registered Veterinary Surgeon, please go to your local Veterinary Practice and ask for a SENSITEST® Allergy Test. This submission procedure is correct for UK-based Veterinary Surgeons, if you wish to submit a test from overseas please visit our International section.
 
 
Submission Box Contents - Submission Protocol, Mailback Envelope, Biohazard Bag and a Submission Form
  1. Choose a test type and complete the details on the submission form
  2. Take a sample of blood ensuring there is sufficient for the required test
  3. Centrifuge the blood sample to seperate the serum, and place into appropriate transport tube (plain serum or serum gel tubes preferred)
  4. Label each tube with pet's name, owner's name & date
  5. Wrap tubes in cotton wool or other suitable absorbent material
  6. Place into biohazard bag and add the submission form to the document pouch of the biohazard bag
  7. Place into submission box and then into the supplied envelope
  8. All results will be returned by post within 7-10 working days from receipt of sample. Advance copies are sent via fax, and can be sent via email if requested
