Allergen-Specific Immunotherapy is a course of desensitisation vaccinations given
to your pet, following positive environmental results on a SENSITESTŪ Allergy Test. These
vaccinations
help the immune system by increasing circulating antibody levels to specific allergens, meaning the
animal will become less sensitive to any plants and/or mites to which they have
allergies.
Immunotherapy can reduce the dependency, but not necessarily eliminate the need, on other medication. Whilst it can take 3-4 months for improvements to be seen, our own research has shown that over 75% of animals show a beneficial response to our immunotherapy vaccines following a SENSITESTŪ Allergy Test.
Vaccines are tailored to the individual requirements of your companion animal.
Whilst some animals are on immunotherapy all year round, others may only require
vaccinations in preparation for the pollen season. Immunotherapy can be given
for the life of your animal.

We also have a staphylococcus-specific immuntherapy vaccine for the treatment
of recurrent pyoderma. For more information on SPLŪ click here.
