Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy consists of a course of vaccinations given to your pet. These vaccinations increase their antibody levels to specific allergens, which in turn means your pet will be less sensitive to the plants/mites they are allergic to.

Immunotherapy can reduce the dependency, but not necessarily eliminate the need for other medication. 70 - 80% of pets show a beneficial response rate to immunotherapy, however it can take 3-4 months for improvements to be seen.

The vaccinations are made specifically for the individual requirements of your pet. Some pets are on immunotherapy all year round while others may only require vaccinations during the pollen season. Immunotherapy can be given for the life of your pet.
